We’re donating more money to our community We’ll hear from our local experts Rob Frey and Duncan Hall-Brown, on how to prepare for the bushfire season. AND we’ll present hefty cheques to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice and the Peregian Surf Club. We’ll offer drinks and snacks on the verandah too. Scott Waters (Noosa Council’s new CEO) will be speaking at our General Meeting this Sunday. The meeting will be held at the Peregian Surf Club at 1pm. We aim to offer speakers and subjects of interest to the wider Peregian communities. Residents, workers, business representatives and friends are all welcome. Works to commence behind the Pavilions

Development to Start Peregian Family & Friends Inc has received correspondence from a number of concerned residents of the ‘Pavilions’ in Peregian Springs, voicing their concerns regarding recent notice that works will soon commence on the development of multi dwelling units at 5 Pavilion Drive. According to Sunshine Coast Regional Council’s Div 9 Councillor Maria Suarez, initial approval for this development was given in 2009. “There seems to be some confusion from other enquiries about the original approvals and the recent amendments. Our members told us that Peregian Springs needs a Community House. We approached the Sunshine Coast Regional Council through Division 9 Councillor, Maria Suarez. We asked her if a Community House was being considered for Peregian Springs. “No funds are available in this budget.” Cr Suarez said. “However, I have arranged for an allocation to identify whether there is a need.” Peregian Family & Friends is now seeking information and feedback from you. ‘Spirit of Peregian’ pays out $80,000

Two consecutive years of the gala fundraiser Under the Stars has paid off for Peregian Family & Friends Inc (PFAF). Initially established with the goal of re-establishing a local surf club in, and for Peregian; the 2022 committee were in a position to present accumulated funds to the newly incorporated Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club (PBSLSC) at our general meeting in December 2022.
